Burkina Faso/ Mali: The Burkinabe Minister of communication received in Audience by His Excellency Choguel MAÏGA
The Prime Minister and head of the Malian government, Choguel Kokalla Maiga, received on this Thursday, April 6th, 2023, the Burkinabe Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, Rimtalba Jean-Emmanuel Ouedraogo.
On behalf of the President and Prime Minister of Burkina Faso, the Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism came specifically to say «THANK YOU» to the President of the Transition, Colonel Assimi Goïta, the Malian Prime Minister Choguel Kokalla Maiga, and the Malian people for their participation and involvement in the success of the 28th edition of FESPACO.
According to the Burkina Minister, this step is normal, given that “our relations are based on common values”.
The Malian participation as guest of honor at the 2023 edition and the presence of a strong high-level delegation led by Prime Minister Choguel Kokalla Maiga made the burkinabe minister say that Mali and Burkina co-organized FESPACO.
Responding to his guest, Prime Minister Choguel Kokalla Maiga thanked the Burkinabe people for the warm welcome given to his delegation.
Also, he emphasized that the authorities of both countries have no other concern than to respond to the aspirations of the people, who are actually ahead of their leaders.
He added that they are working towards reaching a point of no return in achieving these goals.
