Burkina Faso: The President of the MPSR, salutes the bravery of the FDS on the eve of the new year.
The President of the MPSR, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, chose Solenzo in the province of Banwa, a locality that was controlled by terrorist groups, to address a New Year’s message to his compatriots.
The choice of Solenzo was an opportunity for the President of the MPSR to salute the bravery of the FDS who have fought hard to reconquer this territory dominated by terrorists and through them to salute all the fighters who are engaged throughout Burkina Faso.
For some time now, Captain Ibrahim Traoré has been hunting down armed groups by putting in place tactics. These tactics are the proof of victory on the ground. The President of the MPSR, encourages the brave fighters, invites them to redouble their efforts and to see the hope of life that this brings to the populations when they see them.
The reorganisation of the army and logistics will soon be a reality. The MPSR President’s wish is that when the people ask for the forces, they should be present. And this is the place for the President to be grateful to certain neighbouring countries that have spared no effort to help the country acquire a certain number of air and land resources.
The problem of corruption is of concern to the President of the MPSR. A consultation framework will be launched for the refoundation of the nation. “Our system of governance must be totally reformed. The judiciary and the auditors have been given carte blanche to start the fight against corruption and this can already be felt on the ground. I encourage them to continue the work and to be able to help us change our system of governance,” said the MPSR President. “This fight, whether on the side of the administration, or in the military component, we have opted for a modernization, a digitalization of institutions. This will allow us to better fight against corruption, to be able to dematerialise many aspects of our lives,” he added.
On the situation of the VDP, the President of the MPSR promised to equip them, train them and accompany them in their task. “Thank you very much to them for this patriotic fight, thank you to them for this patriotic impulse. We can only salute them and I can assure you that we will do everything possible to ensure that they can fully play their role in this war,” Captain Ibrahim Traoré reassured.
