Burkina Faso / The Burkinabe Fighting Forces under the shield of President Ibrahim Traoré: A relentless reconquest

Since President Ibrahim Traoré took over the reins of Burkina Faso, the fighting forces under his shield have shown unwavering dedication to the reconquest of the national territory. Last Thursday, they once again proved their bravery and determination by inflicting a crushing defeat on the terrorists at Sogodin, in the Centre-Nord region.

Following the terrorist attack on Thursday morning in Sogodin, which was repelled with exceptional firmness by the brave Burkinabè fighters, the decisive intervention of the airborne vehicles enabled a large number of assailants to be decimated in Korko and the surrounding area.

However, the airborne resources did not stop there. They continued to hunt down the terrorists well into the night, when they had taken refuge in an abandoned hamlet near Dablo.

These criminals, convinced that they were safe, were taken by surprise when the first air strikes wiped out several of them.

A few minutes later, other criminals returned to the scene to rescue any wounded, but they too were neutralised.

Operations are continuing to eliminate any remaining threat.

This resounding success testifies to the remarkable work of Burkina Faso’s fighting forces, acting under the determined command of President Ibrahim Traoré.

Their dedication to protecting national security and eradicating the terrorist threat is an inspiration to the whole country.

Burkina Faso can be proud of its armed forces and its presidential leadership, who are working tirelessly to guarantee peace and stability in the country.

The reconquest of the national territory is underway, and these latest events show that the fighting forces are ready to meet any challenge to ensure a secure and prosperous future for all Burkinabè.
