Burkina Faso: President Ibrahim Traoré continues his commitment to the well-being of all sections of Burkina Faso’s population
In a groundbreaking gesture towards inclusivity and support for people living with disabilities, President Ibrahim Traoré continues to actualize his vision for a better future for all citizens. This was recently exemplified by the donation of ten motorcycles to the Provincial Coordination of Associations for Persons Living with Disabilities in the Nahouri province, a commendable act showcasing his commitment to the well-being of all social strata within his populace.
The handover ceremony, presided over by the Governor of the Centre-Sud region, Massadalo Yvette Nacoulma/Sanou, on behalf of the Head of State, underscored the importance of national solidarity in advancing development goals and social inclusion.
This generous gesture, valued at approximately 7 million FCFA, was made possible through the initiative of Samuel Tahoura, President of the Dakola Transit Association, highlighting the dedication of the country’s citizens in supporting Transition initiatives.
These motorcycles not only serve as transportation means but also represent an opportunity for people with disabilities to access services and economic opportunities more easily.
In addition to this donation, the Head of State also commissioned a water borehole for the benefit of this community, further demonstrating his ongoing commitment to their socio-economic well-being.
