Burkina Faso/One Year Transition: Thousands of Burkinabe renew their support for Ibrahim TRAORE’S Transition and demand a New Constitution

The people of Burkina Faso turned out massively on Friday 29 September to renew their support for the Transition and the Head of State, Ibrahim TRAORE. As planned, they gathered at the Place des Nation in Ouagadougou to show their gratitude and recognition to the President of the Transition.

At the event, they said they wanted a new constitution that would meet the aspirations of the people of Burkina Faso.

According to the President of the Amidala Burkina-Russia, the current constitution was inherited from France, which is no longer accepted in the country, so it is important to get rid of everything that links it to Burkina Faso.

This mobilisation was organised to mark the commemoration of the first year of the seizure of power by the MPSR, led by Captain Ibrahim TRAORE.

On the question of the security record of the President of the transition, the actions and results speak for themselves, according to the organisers of the demonstration.

They praised the dedication and determination of the authorities, the FDS and the VDP.

The people of Burkina Faso also acknowledged that Burkina Faso’s army is growing in strength and that the fight against terrorism is intensifying.

The people of Burkina Faso are therefore there to support and protect their leader in this fight, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE.

According to reports, all the so-called Pan-African organisations took part in this major demonstration.

The same mobilisation was observed in other towns in Burkina, such as Bobo-Dioulasso, Banfora, Ouahigouya, Dédougou, Kaya and Fada N’gourma.
