Burkina Faso: A major demonstration in support of the transition announced
Burkinabe from various associations and movements are actively preparing for a large-scale popular demonstration. Scheduled for Saturday, may 11th at the Ouagadougou Municipal Stadium, this demonstration aims to once again express the unwavering support of the people of Burkina Faso for the transitional authorities.
To the Burkinabe people, the transitional authorities are like a compass guiding their country towards its destiny and out of the security and socio-economic crises.
This compass, threatened by strong winds from enemies (imperialists and local lackeys), deserves unwavering support and protection from Burkinabe people who cherish peace and security.
Recent events aimed at tarnishing the country’s image, disturbing the peace and tranquillity of the population, or shaking the determination of the combat forces and authorities, should prompt the Burkinabe people to react through this demonstration.
It is essential to show the enemies and the world the unity, fraternity, and solid trust among the sons and daughters of the land of upright men.
It is therefore important for every Burkinabe citizen who does not want to see their country fall into the hands of plunderers, thieves, and selfish enemies, to come out and express support for the transitional authorities, the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), as well as the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP).
This will be a way to encourage and further galvanize them for the ongoing struggle that undoubtedly leads Burkina Faso to a final victory over the enemy.
