Togo: Lomé organises a conference on the digitalisation of businesses next month

An upcoming conference in Lomé, scheduled for February 22nd, promises to shed light on the intricate landscape of business digitalization. Spearheaded by Odoo, a globally recognized open-source business management software publisher with roots in Belgium and the United States, the event is poised to be a significant milestone for local stakeholders.

Odoo, renowned for providing integrated business management solutions, will take the opportunity to unveil its latest iteration, «Odoo 17», during the conference.

This unveiling is anticipated to showcase cutting-edge features and enhancements, offering attendees a glimpse into the forefront of digital business solutions.

Notably, Odoo’s impact in Togo was palpable last year, particularly through its role as a pivotal tool in the «Lon Kelew» program.

Executed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Togo (CCI-Togo) with support from the European Union, the initiative aimed to bolster the digital capabilities of numerous Togolese enterprises.

A team of adept IT consultants, numbering around ten, were strategically deployed to provide comprehensive training to these SMEs, empowering them to efficiently manage crucial functions such as order processing, inventory management, sales, and customer relations.

Widely adopted across the globe, Odoo serves as the backbone for over five million individuals navigating the intricacies of business management.

The conference, therefore, holds the promise of not only unveiling technological advancements but also fostering a collaborative environment for local businesses to embrace and leverage digitalization effectively.
