Togo: Europe Study Week, focussed on individual mobility opportunities.

The 4th edition of the studies week in Europe in Togo, opened its doors this Thursday at the University of Lome . The objective of this meeting is to inform about the possibilities of individual mobility.  This initiative is an opportunity for Togolese universities to deepen the collaboration between them. It also allows them to strengthen the existing links between Togolese and European youth, to structure themselves, to reinforce their skills, to forge networks, to open their work and research horizons in order to build a two-way and lifelong mobility. This year, private universities are also involved. The initiative aims to promote the mobility of students from the continent.

« “Go to Europe, it’s going to learn what we can’t do here in Togo. It’s going to acquire knowledge to come and build our country. No one will come to build Togo for us. What is Togo’s share in meeting the challenges of the moment? To raise them, you must have well-trained people. It starts now and here. This is why we give particular emphasis to these exchange programs that aim to provide our country with educational instruments that we do not have on site “

, “said the Minister of Higher Education of Togo, Majesté Ihou WATEBA.

As a reminder, the Europe Study Week in Togo promotes university exchanges between Togo and Europe. It will continue at the University of Kara from November 21 to 23, 2022.

This year, the event is organised by the delegation of the European Union, France, Germany, Spain, who have committed themselves to holding this important event. This 4th edition offers a variety of different activities and cultural activities organised by Togolese and European actors.
