Burkina Faso: The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Ouagadougou, H.E. Fahd bin Abdurrahman Al-Dosari, condemns the anti-Islamic incident in Sweden

An act of barbarism aiming at sowing discord among Muslim and Christian communities occurred on June 28, 2023, in Sweden. A man, driven by hatred towards the Islamic religion, burned several pages of the Holy Quran in Stockholm.  The aim behind this  Quran-burning incident  is to provoke the anger of the Muslim world and instigate interreligious warfare.

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Burkina Faso, Fahd bin Abdurrahman Al-Dosari, strongly condemned this atrocious event. On his Twitter account, the Ambassador expressed his discontent: « Saudi Arabia condemns the sacrilegious act of burning a copy of the Holy Quran by an extremist in Stockholm, Sweden, after the Eid al-Adha prayer».

The World Islamic League also condemned the act of burning a copy of the Holy Quran in Stockholm, Sweden, through a post.

This Quran-burning incident  is yet another example of the actions perpetrated by certain Western countries driven by hatred, seeking to manipulate and destabilize the powers in place.

H.E. Fahd bin Abdurrahman Al-Dosari calls on the Muslim world to denounce these barbaric acts in order to curb the scourge of manipulation. However, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Burkina Faso extends his support to the Muslim world in this painful situation.
