Malian delegation explores enhanced partnership with Russia across various sectors

Authorities of the Republic of Mali and their partners in the Russian Federation are considering strengthening their strategic partnership by expanding cooperation into other sectors. This is the main reason for a friendly and working visit to Moscow by a Malian government delegation.

According to information from the Malian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a government delegation led by Minister Abdoulaye DIOP flew to Moscow, Russia, for two days of work on February 28th.

Initiated by the government of the Russian Federation, this visit is also in line with the desire of the leaders of both countries to have regular exchanges on topics of common interest.

The two parties will discuss ways to strengthen and diversify their cooperation.

In addition to the robust military cooperation sealed by enhancing the operational capabilities of the Malian Defense and Security Forces, Mali, according to reports, is also a key focus of Russia’s economic agenda with a portfolio of priority projects in the fields of energy, transportation, agriculture, and education.

High-level political consultations and technical and sectoral meetings are planned during this Malian visit to Moscow.

According to the Malian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, bilateral cooperation between Mali and Russia is based on mutual respect, friendship, and solidarity.

They have a win-win partnership that benefits the populations of both countries and contributes to genuine, harmonious, and sustainable socio-economic development. Reword this article in English in another way.
