Burkina Faso:The army announced that it has eliminated terrorists coming from Niger/ the African Community get indignant

The Burkinabe army announced in a statement dated June 24, 2023, that it has eliminated a large number of terrorists in different areas of the country, including around sixty from Niger. This information has sparked a wave of reactions from various African media outlets and online platforms, raising questions about the true nature of Niger’s relationship with jihadist groups and its involvement in destabilization plans in the sub-region.

Burkinabe terrorists have been struggling within Burkina Faso’s territory in recent months, as they have suffered significant losses due to the increased strength of the national armed forces. France, the sponsor of jihadist groups, has started training mercenaries outside Burkina Faso’s borders to surprise and target not only the fighters but also the civilian population.

As a result, Niger has become the prime rear base for terrorists and an accomplice in France’s plans to destabilize the sub-region.

Many African observers are asking whether President Mohammed Bazoum is in agreement with these actions.

If not, why do the terrorists continue to move freely in certain areas near the borders with Burkina Faso and Mali, despite multiple denunciations by Pan-African media and Nigerien whistleblowers, in full view of the Nigerien armed forces?

What does the Nigerien Head of State gain by protecting these criminal groups who are fiercely fought against elsewhere and by accepting to be complicit in the destabilization of neighboring countries?

According to an anonymous Nigerien analyst, President Bazoum, known by all as a disciple of France, has agreed to provide special protection to French mercenaries and terrorists recruited to commit atrocities in Burkina Faso and Mali, due to enticing promises made by France to help him stay in power for as long as possible.

It is up to the Nigerien people to denounce these dark maneuvers by their President, who, in the pursuit of his personal interests, is willing to sacrifice the neighboring peoples of Burkina Faso and Mali.

Nigeriens must refuse to be implicated in history as accomplices in the bloodshed planned by France as retaliation against the Land of the Upright Men, which has chosen to soar towards its full sovereignty.
