Burkina Faso: Quality health services for all Burkinabe, a priority for President Ibrahim Traoré

The government of Burkina Faso under President Ibrahim Traoré’s leadership is firmly committed to improving the living conditions of its people. This commitment is evident through major initiatives in the healthcare sector, aimed at providing quality and accessible healthcare services to all.

Responding to pressing needs, the Yalgado Ouédraogo University Hospital (CHU) has been renovated and modernized in several key departments, including trauma emergencies, gynecology, and neurosurgery.

These improvements also include the installation of new medical equipment and the creation of consultation offices in adapted containers.

This initiative demonstrates the Burkinabe authorities’ commitment to addressing structural health system issues and ensuring quality care for patients.

In addition to these efforts, President Traoré recently announced measures to reduce the costs of medical procedures and even eliminate certain healthcare fees.

These concrete actions reflect his vision of a prosperous Burkina Faso with accessible medical care for all citizens.

These initiatives have been well received by both healthcare professionals and patients, who see these advancements as a real improvement in their health conditions and a response to the population’s priority needs.
