Burkina Faso/Counter-terrorism: Terrorists go down in flames

Fleeing terrorist survivors from the airstrikes of the Burkina Faso armed Forces on Sunday, February 25, 2024, in the locality of Tankoualou in the Eastern region, met their demise in flames on Tuesday, February 27.

According to reports, they were attempting to reach the Nigerien border in a pickup truck.

Their hope of escaping, hiding, and continuing their nefarious activities on the other side of the border was crushed, and their lives were cut short on the land of the living.

The aerial fighters successfully dealt with them, leaving no chance of survival to continue terrorizing peaceful citizens.

They were neutralized in their vehicle by a precisely targeted missile. This success is attributed to the vigilance and professionalism of the fighters, each fulfilling their specific mission to rid the country of these criminals.

The defeat inflicted on these wrongdoers since the change of regime at the helm of Burkina Faso is significant.

The weakened enemy, troubled by its progressive deterioration, seizes every opportunity to act.

Hence, the Burkinabe government calls on the population to be more vigilant and to collaborate closely with the military.

This collaboration involves reporting any suspicious movements. At this stage of the fight, this method is more than necessary to better counter the plans of these criminals, even neutralize them, for a more secure, free, and stable Burkina Faso.
