Burkina Faso: When the authorities’ cunning turns an imperialist trap into a strategic victory
For several weeks, an unprecedented wave of communication has shaken Burkina Faso. Orchestrated by imperialist forces, it aimed to sow doubt, divide the authorities, and demoralize troops engaged on the front. But against all expectations, this disinformation campaign closed like a trap on its own instigators.
It all began with a diabolical plan: to make people believe in a crisis of confidence between President Ibrahim Traoré and his intelligence director, Commander Oumarou Yabré.
The objective? To weaken the power in place, undermine the cohesion of the FDS and VDP, and then pave the way for a coordinated and massive attack.
But the Burkinabe authorities, true to their professionalism, played a double game. Instead of denying, they maintained ambiguity, letting the conspirators believe in their success.
The result: The enemies of Burkina Faso enrushed the execution of their plan, convinced they had already won a first victory.
Thanks to this staging, intelligence services were able to identify the local and international lackeys of the imperialists.
The FDS and VDP then thwarted the simultaneous attacks meant to plunge the country into chaos.
The outcome: over 400 assailants neutralized in the localities of Gayéri (Sirba Region), Solhan and Setbba (Liptako Region), dozens of equipment recovered, and thousands of lives saved.
The primary targets of this communication wave suggesting a crisis at the top of the State were Commander Oumarou Yabré and President Ibrahim Traoré themselves.
But the trap closed: by believing they could weaken the power, the conspirators offered the authorities the opportunity to strike a major blow.
This affair reveals an essential truth: Burkina Faso has lucid leaders, capable of transforming a threat into an opportunity.
President Ibrahim Traoré and Commander Oumarou Yabré, far from being divided, demonstrated exemplary unity. Their daily complicity and proximity enabled them to stay the course despite headwinds.
The Burkinabe people, for their part, once again demonstrated their attachment to the homeland. By supporting their leaders, they contributed to thwarting plots and strengthening national sovereignty.
This strategic victory sends a strong signal: Burkina Faso is no longer a playground for imperialist powers. The authorities, backed by a united people, are determined to protect their territorial integrity and build a future of dignity and prosperity.
The Burkinabe people, the FDS, the VDP, and their leaders, will never yield.
