Nigeria/Abuja: The ECOWAS Court of Justice drops Ousmane SONKO
Ousmane Sonko’s French lawyer is very upset and has lashed out at the ECOWAS Court of Justice. According to Juan Branco, the Court of the Community Institution found in favour of the Senegalese State.
On his X account (ex Twitter), the visibly angry lawyer lashed out at the said Court at a time when minds are divided between Dakar and Abuja, awaiting the verdicts of the ECOWAS Court of Justice and the Supreme Court.
«The ECOWAS Court of Justice has given Macky Sall carte blanche to destroy his opponent. It approves the dissolution of the main opposition party. It does not rule on the deregistration. It sets itself up as the guardian of power over a sea of corpses», wrote French lawyer Juan Branco, visibly very angry with the said Court.
As a result, the Court has ordered the dissolution of the PASTEF party.
As a result, Ousmane Sanko was struck off the electoral roll by the court, which ruled that it was not competent to give a ruling.
