Manchester United Sets £34 Million Price Tag on Mason Greenwood amidst interest from Spanish Clubs

Mason Greenwood, currently on loan at Getafe from Manchester United, has successfully overshadowed off-field issues with stellar performances in La Liga. As his future at Manchester United seems uncertain, the club has now set a price tag for the English international.

When Getafe secured the loan signing of Mason Greenwood last summer, it raised eyebrows and drew criticism. Following off-field incidents, Manchester United opted to loan the 22-year-old player to Getafe in Spain.

Greenwood has rediscovered his form with the Azulones, boasting impressive statistics this season (7 goals and 5 assists in 14 matches).

His standout performances have captured the attention of several clubs, including FC Barcelona, FC Sevilla, Real Sociedad, and Atlético Madrid.

With his loan set to conclude at the end of the season, Greenwood will return to Manchester United.

However, it is expected that he will be promptly transferred if a buying club is found. According to Sun reports, the Red Devils might command a hefty sum for the player.

Manchester United has reportedly set Mason Greenwood’s price at £34 million, equivalent to €40 million.

While Getafe expresses interest in acquiring Greenwood, the club may face financial constraints in meeting such a valuation.
