Advancements in Mali’s education landscape: National education conference gains momentum

The National Commission overseeing the National Education Conference (EGE) in Mali is actively preparing for the upcoming event. In a meeting with the Minister of National Education, Dr. Amadou Sy Savané, and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Boureima Kansaye, the Commission’s president, Edmond Dembélé, presented an update on the progress.  He also officially handed over documents and decisions related to the budget allocated for the EGE.

Dembélé highlighted that the EGE would encompass all 19 regions, the District of Bamako, and diplomatic missions across the country. He assured that comprehensive measures would be implemented to ensure the success of this significant national event.

Expressing satisfaction with the notable progress, both ministers praised the Commission’s efforts toward the NEC’s success. Dr. Amadou Sy Savané and Prof. Boureima Kansaye anticipate a high-level exchange to enhance visibility for an event focused on addressing Mali’s critical educational challenges.
