Egyptian space agency lauds China’s support in launching MISRAT-2 satellite for african advancement

China’s collaborative efforts in space technology have received accolades from the Chief of Egypt’s Space Agency (EgSA) following the successful launch of the MISRAT-2 satellite on Monday. Sherif Sedky, the CEO of EgSA, expressed gratitude for China’s support, highlighting its role in propelling Egypt to the forefront of space exploration in Africa. The MISRAT-2 satellite, launched via a Long March-2C carrier rocket at 12:10 (Beijing Time), is set to make substantial contributions to diverse fields, including agriculture and water conservancy.

In an interview with China Global Television Network (CGTN), Sedky emphasized the satellite’s capabilities, ranging from monitoring urban development to assessing changes in river water levels and crop distribution across the country.
