Burkina Faso: Successful air operation in Burkina Faso: Armed forces neutralise terrorists on the Kaya-Dori route
On 3 December 2023, the air force of the Burkina Faso army neutralised several terrorists as they were preparing an attack on a convoy on the Kaya-Dori route. The terrorists were unhappy at the increase in the number of land convoys by the fighting forces, which were intended to relieve the population until the roads could be made safe once and for all.
On the day of the incident, the criminals, coming from Pensa, joined a group already present in Ouintokuilga to plan the attack.
The first group, based under a large tree, was hit by a missile, causing them to be eliminated immediately.
Meanwhile, the second group, hiding under bushes with their motorbikes and logistics, thought they would escape detection.
However, another missile hit their position, causing their ammunition to explode and their equipment to be destroyed.
Some members tried to flee, but attack helicopters pursued them, neutralising all the fugitives.
In Burkina Faso, Operations are continuing on all fronts to restore territorial integrity and ensure security in the region.
