AFCON/Rwanda-Senegal qualifiers: Pape Thiaw and Malick Daf publish a list of 30 players

The  Senegalese duo  composed of Pape Thiaw and Malick Daff has been selected to lead the Senegal national football team to Rwanda for the 6th and final round of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Senegalese coaches have announced a roster of 30 players to take on The Wasps on September 9th in front of their home crowd.

The list is characterized by the inclusion of local players, including U20 and U17 internationals, as well as members of the local national team.

The Lions’ assembly is set to begin this Thursday, August 31, 2023 in Thies. The Senegalese team is scheduled to depart Dakar on September,6th for Rwanda.

Both Senegal and Rwanda are in group L. Leading the group with 13 points, the Lions have already secured their pot in 2023 AFCON. Meanwhile, the Rwandan team, positioned at the bottom of the group with two points, has been eliminated from further contention.
