Togo: Good performance, the Autonomous Port of Lomé in the top 100 most active ports

The Autonomous Port of Lomé has experienced great innovations translated by a dematerialization whose objectives are: to further compress the transit times of goods, Reduce the procedures for collecting goods with online invoice payments and facilitate speed and transparency in administrative formalities.

In the recent ranking of the Lloyd’s List, establishing the list of the most efficient ports in the world in terms of container traffic for the year 2023, the port of Lomé achieved a feat by climbing 02 places, from the 96th to the 94th place.

The Autonomous Port of Lomé is the 4th most efficient port in Africa in terms of container traffic, ranking just behind the ports of Tanger Med in Morocco, Port Said in Egypt and the port of Durban.

The presence of the Autonomous Port of Lomé in the top 100 of the most active world ports, for the third year in a row, is proof of the constant efforts made to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of port operations. Only West African country in the top 100.
