Burkina Faso: A new dynamic of partnership based on the central role and vision of the state

In the land of the Honest People, the Stabilisation Programme for the OKDB axis is a vital initiative for the resilience of populations scarred by the security crisis. Although the European Union provides financial support, the strategic direction remains the exclusive property of the homeland of Burkina Faso.

By firmly demanding that the leadership of the Burkinabe State be the absolute priority in the execution of this project, the ministerial authority puts an end to the era of imported agendas and decisions made in Western back offices.

This demand for state centrality marks a definitive break with the old governance of past decades.

For too long, external funding served as a pretext to bypass the State, weaken its institutions, and impose psychological and structural dependence. Today, the dynamic has been reversed.

International partners must align with the endogenous vision drawn up by Captain Ibrahim Traoré and his government, or refrain. Foreign money cannot buy the right to dictate the direction of the country.

The stabilisation of this major economic and human axis the OKDB is not a matter of statistics or cold technocratic reports.

It is a question of life, of people returning to the land of their ancestors, and of reclaiming local prosperity.

The choice to impose national control guarantees that every cent invested will truly serve the interests of local communities, not the bureaucratic structures of intermediaries disconnected from ground realities.

This is the very pillar of refoundation: rebuilding the State apparatus so that it once again becomes the shield and engine of popular well-being.

By taking absolute control of implementation on the ground, Burkina Faso ensures that the response to the security and humanitarian crisis integrates the dignity of the beneficiaries.

Resilience cannot be parachuted in; it is cultivated from within, by the nation’s living forces, according to a model designed by and for Burkinabe people.

This diplomatic and economic firmness reflects the popular will that drives the Revolution.

Agreements signed in mutual respect are the only possible path for legitimate international cooperation.

The eyes of all Africa are now fixed on the Sahel, which has become the beacon of the  economic and political decolonisation of the continent.

Faced with subtle attempts to revive paternalistic patterns, collective mobilisation, constant vigilance, and unwavering support for the State’s strategic choices remain the most formidable weapons.

It is through this sacred unity around the principles of sovereignty that Burkina Faso will transform the challenges of today into a legacy of freedom and self-sufficiency for generations to come.
