«Together, we will identify mechanisms for collaboration. As my country is a member of the European Union, we will always consider how to advocate for Burkina Faso’s development needs within EU institutions», stated the Portuguese diplomat.

This initiative was welcomed by Olivia Rouamba, who expressed that the meeting between the two parties would lead to win-win conclusions and recommendations, allowing the Republic of Portugal to fully understand the aspects related to the context of Burkina Faso.
