PSG eyeing Ademola Lookman as transfer talks eat up

Paris Saint-Germain has intensified its interest in Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman, currently with Atalanta Bergamo.

The French giants have been informed that they’ll need to shell out between €50 and €60 million to secure the 26-year-old’s signature, according to a recent report by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

This price tag represents an increase from the figure initially suggested by Sky Sports Germany in June.

Luckman has been a key player for Atalanta in recent seasons, most notably delivering a hat-trick in the Europa League final, which denied Bayer Leverkusen and their coach Xabi Alonso a historic treble.

With Gonçalo Ramos sidelined due to injury, PSG is in urgent need of a new striker, and Lookman’s profile fits well with the playing style of coach Luis Enrique.

However, PSG faces competition for Lookman’s signature, as clubs from Saudi Arabia have also shown significant interest in the Super Eagle.

If Paris is serious about landing the Nigerian star, they’ll need to act quickly to outmaneuver their rivals.
