Jadon Sancho finds form at Dortmund amid uncertainty over Manchester United future

After a challenging period at Manchester United, Jadon Sancho has rediscovered his form and happiness at Borussia Dortmund, despite losing the Champions League final to Real Madrid (0-2) at Wembley.

The English winger, who had a public clash with United manager Erik ten Hag over his training commitment, returned to Dortmund on loan and has been effective, scoring 3 goals and providing 3 assists in 21 matches.

Sancho’s fallout with Ten Hag began when the coach criticized his training efforts, leading to a strong social media response from Sancho, which he later deleted.

This conflict resulted in his loan move to Dortmund, where he has shown glimpses of his old self.

However, Sancho’s future remains uncertain. According to the Mirror, the 24-year-old winger has set a condition for his return to Manchester United: Erik ten Hag must leave the club.

Sancho feels he cannot maintain a healthy relationship with a manager who publicly criticized him and has made no attempts to reconcile.

The decision now lies with Manchester United officials and potential new owner Jim Ratcliffe.

While Sancho’s return under the current management seems unlikely, Erik ten Hag’s position at the club is also not guaranteed.

One thing is clear: Sancho and Ten Hag will not be at Manchester United together next season.
