Burkina Faso/ Niger: has president Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno an arrangement with France?

Did President Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno of Chad make a deal with France to stay in power by destabilizing Burkina Faso? This is a question that concerns many observers of the current political situation in the Sahel.

According to some reports, the Chadian President may have sent Chadian mercenary soldiers to support terrorists in Burkina Faso and Mali.

Still basing on these reports, a convoy of Chadian soldiers accompanied by French soldiers is  heading towards Niger. This, in order  to take up positions on the borders between Niger and Burkina Faso, as well as between Niger and Mali.

If this is true, the President of the Chadian transition has just confirmed his complicity in the assassination of his late father.  All certainly indicated that France is the sponsor of this crime, according to some sources in Chad.

Even though these unconfirmed reports, the governments of Burkina Faso and Mali should be alerted and take swift measures to secure their borders with Niger.

If the Chadian President is indeed supporting terrorists in Burkina Faso and Mali, it is clear that this can only damage the regional security.

The people must also mobilize to denounce this behavior and call for strong actions to prevent any attempt to destabilize the region.

It is important for regional actors to work together to ensure the security of the region.

It is essential to recall that the armies of Burkina Faso and Mali have gained the upper hand over the terrorists in recent times.

If the Chadian president is indeed supporting these groups, it could further worsen the situation in the region.

Ultimately, Regional Governments must closely monitor the matter as it has significant implications for the security and stability of the Sahel region.

They must work together to ensure the safety of their citizens and put an end to terrorist violence in the region.
