Ilkay Gundogan dismisses Qatar transfer rumors, commits to FC Barcelona
Just a year after his arrival at FC Barcelona, Ilkay Gundogan is already being linked with a move to Qatar.
However, the German midfielder has clarified his stance amidst the speculation.
Gundogan, who joined Barcelona on a free transfer following the 2022-2023 season after leaving Manchester City, signed a contract with the Catalan giants until 2025.
Despite a reported three-year offer from Qatar, Gundogan remains focused on his future with Barcelona.
According to Sport on Wednesday, the German international has no intention of leaving the club.
Gundogan, who also captains the German national team, is set to continue into his second season at Camp Nou, reaffirming his commitment to Barcelona amidst the transfer rumors.
