Guinea: President Mamadi Doumbouya appointed the members of the board of directors of the ONFPP

The members of the board of directors of the ONFPP (National Office for Vocational Training and Development) have been announced since Tuesday evening. By presidential decree, 9 individuals have been appointed to define the strategy of this public institution and to make decisions on all matters related to its social purpose.

According to the decree signed by the President of the Transition, Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya, and read on national television:

The administration of the ONFPP will now be led by Dr. Antoine Sovogui, Presidential Advisor for Relations with Republican Institutions.

As for the members, there are eight (8) of them:

Mr. Ibrahima Sory Keita, Director General of the Strategy and Development Bureau at the Ministry of Labor and Public Service;

Ms. Housseynatou Bah, Deputy Director of Investment Promotion at the Agency for Promotion and Private Investments (APIP-Guinea);

Mr. Lancinet Béavogui, Legal Advisor at the Ministry of Technical Education, Vocational Training, and Employment;

Ms. Maria Diané, Secretary General of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Guinea (CGE-GUI);

Mr. Mamadou Gandho Bah, National Director of Financial Control at the Ministry of Economy and Finance;

Mr. Sékou Camara, Executive Secretary in charge of Conflicts and Negotiations at the National Confederation of Guinean Workers (CNTG);

Mr. Thierno Madjou Diallo, Executive Secretary in charge of Press and Communication at the National Confederation of Guinean Workers (CNTG);

Mr. Tamba Keita, Director General of the Cabinet (CGE-GUI).

As a reminder, the National Office for Vocational Training and Development (ONFPP) is a state structure whose purpose is to provide in-service training and development in mixed, semi-public, and private sectors, as well as apprenticeships in the informal sector of the economy.

It operates under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Technical Education, Vocational Training, Employment, and Labor. The office is headquartered in Conakry.
