Foot/UCL/ Real Madrid went on to dictate their terms on the Napoli’s field
In a highly anticipated match on the second day of the UEFA Champions’ League group stage, Napoli faced off against Real Madrid. The game took place at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium, where Napoli missed yet another opportunity to secure their first victory against Real Madrid.
The match lived up to its billing as a clash between two favorites of Group C, offering an exciting encounter.

After the break, Napoli managed to level the score with a penalty converted by Piotr Zielinski (54′, 2-2) following a handball by Nacho.
Napoli continued to press forward, but Carlo Ancelotti’s substitutions, including Modric and Joselu, increased the pressure on the Italian champions.
Real Madrid secured the victory when Valverde’s powerful shot struck the crossbar and rebounded off Meret’s back into the net (78′, 2-3).
The score remained unchanged, and the Spanish team emerged with a 3-2 win.
With this win, Real Madrid now leads Group C with 6 points. Their next match will be against Braga on October 24th.
