Foot: The strong Best XI team of the Saudi Pro League

After Neymar’s transfer to Al-Hilal, “L’Equipe” has updated its Best XI team for the Saudi Arabian league, which is becoming increasingly attractive with a constellation of the biggest European football stars.

Following the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Sadio Mané, and many others, Saudi Arabia has made another significant move with Neymar.

At 31 years old, the Brazilian has committed to a two-year deal with “the biggest club in Asia” and naturally becomes one of the biggest figures in the Saudi Pro League.

In attack, the French daily has placed him alongside Sadio Mané, Karim Benzema, and, of course, Ronaldo.

In midfield, there are also quite a few choices to make, but “L’Equipe” has opted for a triumvirate of Marcelo Brozovic, former Lens player Seko Fofana, and the French World Cup champion N’Golo Kanté.

In defense, it’s no surprise to see the Senegalese rock Kalidou Koulibaly, accompanied by Ibanez and Fabinho, who is a midfielder but completes this Best XI team that is filled with stars.

However, the positioning of the Brazilian midfielder clearly indicates that Saudi Arabia also needs to sign more defenders, even if they won’t fetch as much attention as midfielders or forwards.
