Burkina Faso: The rise of the SDF under the orders of the MPSR
Under the orders of Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s MPSR, the national armed forces conducted several operations to secure the national territory. Victories have been won. Several terrorists neutralized and logistical equipment recovered.Neutralizing the terrorist armed groups operating throughout Burkinabe territory, securing and reassuring the population and reaffirming the authority of the State are the objectives of the MPSR.Several terrorist bases were destroyed, various equipment recovered and hundreds of terrorists neutralized, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces. There has been very little loss of life on the part of the Defence and Security Forces.Under the MPSR, the Burkinabe army also successfully launched a major offensive in early December against terrorist groups that had taken Banwa province hostage.

In addition, the national armed forces provided food escort missions for internally displaced persons in these localities.
In the East, the SDF made sweeps. As part of the strengthening of military-civilian relations, a military detachment provided assistance to the population, through a donation of food.
As a reminder, on November 15, the Captain, His Excellency Ibrahim Traoré carried out a reorganization of the Army. He created and to appointments. He signed a decree establishing six military regions for the army, two air regions for the air force, six gendarmerie legions for the national gendarmerie and six groups of forces.
