Burkina Faso: The Prime Minister of Burkina Faso, Mr Apollinaire Kyelem de Tambela, gives new directions to his staff at the general meeting of the Prime Minister’s office

Ouagadougou witnessed the annual general assembly of the Prime Minister’s office, presided over by Prime Minister Apollinaire Kyelem de Tambela. During this meeting, members of the cabinet, the general secretariat, and affiliated central structures conducted a comprehensive review of their accomplishments in the year 2023, exchanging ideas on the strategic directions for the upcoming year.

The Secretary-General of the Prime Minister’s office, Abdoul Salam Ganpéné, underscored the significance of this gathering as a platform for dialogue, reflecting a participatory management approach.

He specified that the ceremony also served as an occasion to extend New Year wishes to the Prime Minister and to reflect on the major achievements of the Prime Minister’s office in 2023.

A more detailed activity report will be submitted to the Prime Minister’s office at a later date.

During this  annual general assembly of the Prime Minister’s office , Prime Minister Kyelem de Tambela directly addressed his colleagues, urging them to demonstrate commitment and professionalism in their work.

He emphasized the importance of discretion, considering the prevailing context, and called for firm commitment in the framework of territorial reconquest and the expression of national sovereignty.

Abdoul Salam Ganpéné reported that over 80% of the Prime Ministry  activity plan for 2023 was successfully executed, a noteworthy achievement for the institution.

He indicated that the staff is determined to meet and surpass these results in the coming year.
