Burkina Faso: Start of the FIB FORUM, chaired by H.E. Mrs Olivia ROUAMBA.

The first edition of the FORUM FIB was launched under the chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabe Abroad, H.E. Mrs. Olivia ROUAMBA, representing H.E. the President of the Transition, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE.

Placed under the theme: “Contribution of Burkinabe International Civil Servants to the inclusive development of Burkina Faso”, this first edition is intended to be a framework for the promotion of Burkinabe expertise at the international level. It also reflects the willingness of the highest authorities to accompany Burkinabe international civil servants in their careers and especially the desire to involve them in initiatives to find an environment conducive to the development of Burkina Faso.

On this occasion, H.E. Mrs. Olivia ROUAMBA welcomed the strong mobilization of Burkinabe International Civil Servants, which reflects their deep attachment to their country and to its good progress. “The present forum is part of the dynamics of federating the intelligence of Burkinabe from the Interior and the Exterior launched by the Transitional Government so that in a patriotic spirit, we can take up the challenges of the moment,” said the Minister.

As for the President of the National Organising Committee, Ambassador Léopold BONKOUNGOU, he thanked the members of the National Organising Committee, the ambassadors as well as the Burkinabe International Civil Servants who brought their expertise in the process of organising this forum.

The forum of Burkinabe International Civil Servants will continue until 29 December 2022.
