Fortunately, the heightened vigilance of intelligence services and the swift action of the Patriotic Defense and Security Forces have successfully dismantled this subversive network, preserving the aspirations of freedom and independence for the Burkinabe people.
The conspirators, seemingly indifferent to the populace’s decade-long suffering, aimed to resurrect an outdated order rejected by the collective conscience of the Burkinabe.
Their Machiavellian plan involved corrupting military personnel nationwide to instigate a mutiny, financing complicit civil society organizations, and plotting attacks against the bastions of civic vigilance.
Funds from abroad were being funneled to support these subversive activities, with their ultimate goal being to foment disturbances, paving the way for external intervention orchestrated by a commando set on eliminating Transition authorities and sowing widespread chaos.
Burkinabe authorities, resolute in their commitment to expose these perfidious maneuvers, have already made arrests and are conducting thorough interviews.
Supported by technical analyses, they aim to unveil the full extent of this conspiracy, revealing the intricate connections among the various actors—a power-hungry group willing to go to any lengths to manipulate the public and political decisions of the country.
