Burkina Faso: President Ibrahim Traoré’s speech nailed the beaks of the birds of ill omen

In recent days, French media outlets have been accused of spreading misleading information following the incident on June 12.

Reports surfaced quickly, alleging mutinies within military barracks and suggesting that President Ibrahim Traoré was missing due to dissatisfaction among high-ranking officers over the state’s management by the MPSR.

These reports even claimed that President Traoré was injured, which explained his recent absence from public view.

These claims have been criticized as fabrications and sensationalism. President Traoré’s recent public appearance has discredited these rumors, revealing the extent of the misinformation and the intent to destabilize the nation.

Regarding the attacks in Mansila and Dori, the same media outlets reported hundreds of deaths and soldiers being taken hostage by terrorists, which has also been refuted.

The Burkinabe government has dismissed these reports as baseless.

The Burkinabe people are urged to take to social media to condemn the perceived disrespect from the French press and to support the MPSR’s mission for national sovereignty.
