Burkina Faso: President Ibrahim Traore diversifies Burkina Faso’s partners for sustainable development

President Ibrahim TRAORE continues his pursuit of sustainable development beneficial to all Burkinabè by diversifying international partnerships. A significant step in this endeavor was taken during the audience granted to the Iranian Minister of Labor, Cooperation, and Social Welfare, Seyyed Soulat MORTAZAVI, in Ouagadougou Burkina Faso, this Thursday, October 5

The Republic of Iran and Burkina Faso have strengthened their ties through a joint economic cooperation commission that brought together experts from both countries.

This promising collaboration has focused on a multitude of crucial areas, including education, training, environment, housing, health, energy, and mining. The goal is to implement concrete projects that will benefit the people of Burkina Faso.

Iranian Minister Seyyed Soulat MORTAZAVI emphasized the importance of this cooperation, the result of several months of hard work.

He stated, «This cooperation between the two countries, Iran and Burkina Faso, is really important for us […]. Over the past few months, we have worked on different areas with many meetings of experts from both countries».

The memorandum of understanding resulting from the joint economic cooperation commission will serve as a roadmap to further strengthen relations between the two countries.

This progress reflects President Ibrahim TRAORE’s commitment to sustainable development and improving the living conditions of the Burkinabè people.

Diversifying international partners for Burkina Faso is a prudent strategy to accelerate the country’s development.

Under  the vision of President Ibrahim TRAORE, this cooperation with Iran opens up new prospects for the future of Burkina Faso.
