Burkina Faso: “Nana Akufo-Addo has no right to accuse Ouagadougou on such a fact, he seeks discord!”: Tunisian pan-Africanist Chafia Chouchen

It will be necessary for the Burkinabés to mobilize to say “NO” to any attempt at relational destabilization between Burkina Faso and the international community. The Ghanaian Head of State, Mr. Nana Akufo-Addo, is leading an organized coup against Faso and aims to seduce the international community for its own advantages. To this end, the Pan-Africanists call on all of Africa, especially French-speaking Africa, to stand up with the Burkinabé flag, to prevent this masquerade that the Ghanaian President wants to create.Indeed, in order to attract the attention of partners, so that the interests are turned towards his country, Ghana, last Wednesday, during a meeting in the United States with the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Ghanaian President Akufo-Addo, had assured that Burkina had “concluded an arrangement to, like Mali, employ Wagner forces”.A claim of which he has no proof. This Head of State and his gang are only seeking that the international community take unfavourable decisions with regard to Burkina Faso, currently plagued by national security.

Currently in Ghana, of which he is governor, Nana Akufo-Addo’s policy is not accepted at all. It is indeed the main destabilizer of the country’s economy and currency (Cedi), which has fallen up to 50% in value. Already at the beginning of his mandate, he promised Ghanaians that he would focus on governance without external funding. However, a three-billion-dollar IMF bailout loan was most recently taken on December 13.Thus, to support the efforts of the Burkinabe transitional authorities, Tunisian Pan-Africanist Chafia Chouchen, as well as other Pan-Africanists and opinion leaders, call on the Burkinabe people to stand up and carry out peaceful marches to denounce their accusations of the Ghanaian President, which could lead Faso to an arms embargo and thus, cause an increase in terrorist attacks. The accusations without evidence of President Nana Akufo-Addo are very dangerous and deserve sanctions from the international community, because they have no evidence.

This is why, during his meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Faso, the Ambassador of Ghana, Boniface Gambila Adagbila, assured that the words of its President Akufo-Addo “were not intended to condemn Burkina Faso, nor to sow doubt in the minds”, according to the minutes of the meeting, published by the Burkinabe Ministry of Foreign Affairs.”The intention was mainly to attract the attention of partners in order to generate great interest in Burkina Faso,” he added. In response, Minister Traoré said that “Ghana could have undertaken exchanges with the Burkinabe authorities on the security issue in order to have the right information”.

For now, the real sons and daughters of Burkina Faso know that with Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the fight against terrorism is moving and moving forward. The brawlers of Ouagadougou must leave the MPSR, Captain Traoré, and his men worked.
