Burkina Faso: Captain Ibrahim Traoré remains committed to improving the living conditions of his citizens

The security situation in Burkina Faso is having a negative impact on the country’s economy, particularly on the housewive’s shopping basket. Insecurity and unhygienic conditions in some of the country’s markets make it difficult to do business freely.Representatives of market traders and yaars in Burkina Faso have knocked on the right door to find an appropriate solution. President TRAORE listened attentively to the delegation on Monday 11 September 2023.

During the meeting, Captain Ibrahim Traoré reassured the National Union of Traders’ Associations of the work being done to revitalise and modernise the trade sector.

Improving people’s living conditions has always been one of Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s key concerns.

Since he came to power, a number of significant initiatives have been undertaken in all sectors.

This has led to a steady improvement in economic stability in Burkina Faso.

President Traoré, a leader with a white heart, has given instructions through the ministry in charge of infrastructure on projects to improve conditions for traders.

Captain Ibrahim Traoré has also promised to study the concerns in detail with a view to finding lasting solutions.

To enable the government to carry out the project, President Traoré invited traders to subscribe to popular shareholding, through the Agency for the Promotion of Community Entrepreneurship, which aims to encourage the participation of Burkinabè in the country’s major projects.
