Burkina Faso / Boussé: The people unanimously renew their support for President Ibrahim Traoré for a prosperous and secure nation

A historic demonstration of unwavering support for President Ibrahim Traoré and his government unfolded in Boussé (Burkina Faso) over the past weekend. Organized by the Tansoaba of Boussé under the patronage of El Hadj Moustapha Souli, CEO of Wend Waogo Nabonswendé, this march-meeting drew participants from the “Homeland Defense Front” and the “Popular Alliance for Patriotic Commitment” along with delegations from various localities.

Chanting «Long Live Ibrahim Traoré», the demonstrators marched through the city streets to express their fervent backing for the President and his government.

Malick Sawadogo, president of the organizing committee, emphasized that this show of strength aimed to reaffirm the Burkinabe people’s commitment to President Ibrahim Traoré’s enlightened and visionary leadership while honoring the sacrifices made by valiant fighters for the defense of the nation.

Speakers at the ensuing meeting unanimously praised President Traoré and his government’s efforts to promote economic and social development, as well as ensure security and stability.

They called for strengthening national unity and solidarity to overcome current challenges, particularly the terrorist threat.

Alassane Sawadogo, coordinator of the Homeland Defense Front, underscored the importance of remaining united in the face of internal and external challenges, urging increased vigilance to unmask and neutralize terrorism accomplices.

Sayouba Traoré, President of the Popular Alliance for Patriotic Commitment, hailed progress in the fight against terrorism and encouraged the government to continue improving living conditions for the population.

The event’s patron, Moustapha Souili, highlighted the significance of citizen participation in the development process and urged youth to be more involved in community well-being.

Lastly, the Boussé Tansoaba made a heartfelt plea to support the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) and expressed gratitude to the various delegations for their support.

This rally once again showcases the Burkinabe people’s steadfast support for President Ibrahim Traoré and his commitment to the advancement and prosperity of Burkina Faso.
