Burkina Faso / Victory on the march: President Ibrahim Traoré’s winning strategy in the fight against terrorism

Under the command of President Ibrahim Traoré, the supreme military leader of Burkina Faso, the fight against terrorism in the country has reached a critical juncture.

Thanks to his strategic vision and the effective reforms, he has implemented, the Burkinabe Armed Forces are achieving significant victories on the ground, bringing the nation closer to defeating terrorist groups.

The latest operation, code-named “ÉCLAIR,” (Light) conducted by the 19th Rapid Intervention Battalion in the eastern region, exemplifies these successes.

Between August 6th and 10th, Burkinabe forces neutralized 86 terrorists, captured two others, and seized crucial materials.

This operation not only highlights the military’s superiority but also underscores the effectiveness of the strategies put in place by the government to protect the population and restore peace.

These battlefield successes are the result of a clear vision and strong political will, both embodied by President Traoré.
