As part of the ongoing Olympics Pre-Qualifying Tournament OPQT 2023 in Nigeria, The match opposing the Lions of Senegal to the Eagles of Mali showcased an intense battle with both teams showcasing moments of dominance throughout the game.
Led by the impressive performance of Lamine Samb, the Lions of Senegal managed to overcome the challenges posed by the Eagles of Mali.
The match witnessed a seesaw battle as the momentum swung back and forth. Despite the Malian players establishing a lead during the initial two quarters, with scores of 19-16 and 38-33, the Lions roared back by securing victories in the latter two quarters.
Ultimately, Senegal emerged victorious with a narrow three-point margin, concluding the match with a score of 74-71.
