Anitta’s Baile Funk experience tour brings Brazilian rhythms to the World amid controversy
Brazilian music sensation Anitta is thrilling fans worldwide with her Baile Funk Experience tour, bringing the energetic sounds of baile funk, a genre originating from Rio de Janeiro’s favelas, to an international audience. Renowned for her dynamic performances and provocative dance routines, Anitta is leaving a lasting impression.
During this tour, the Singer of Envolver is promoting her sixth studio album, “Funk Generation,” which marks a return to her musical roots. “The reason I decided to go on tour is that I adore this album,” she explained.
Recently, Anitta encountered controversy after releasing the music video for her song “Aceita,” which means “accept” in Portuguese.
The video, which includes elements of Candomblé, an Afro-Brazilian religion, received mixed reactions and resulted in a significant loss of followers on social media.
Unperturbed by the backlash, Anitta stated, «I’m at a stage in my life where I don’t care about people’s opinions. I’d rather have fewer followers who are amazing and share positive energy».
Despite the controversy, Anitta continues to enchant her audience with intimate shows that capture the essence of Brazilian club culture.
