Africa: External forces, in support of the ECOWAS, are aligning with terrorists to destabilize Niger

According to intelligence reports, a foreign military force has been pre-deployed in two Central African countries for a military intervention against Niger.

Terrorists, welcomed by former President Mohamed Bazoum on Nigerien soil, are awaiting equipment from external forces to take action against civilians.

International organizations will claim humanitarian aid to disguise convoys carrying war equipment.

Despite airspace closures, external forces plan to use force to defy decisions by the new Nigerien authorities.

The National Council for the Safeguard of the Homeland strongly opposes this destabilization attempt.

General Abdourahamane Tchiani and his men warn ECOWAS, suspected of being influenced by foreign powers, against interfering in Niger’s internal affairs.

The military in power in Niger also caution the regional organization about the disastrous consequences of this military venture on sub-regional security, stability, and unity.

«In any case, the Nigerien armed forces and all our defense and security forces, with unwavering support from our people, are ready to defend the integrity of our territory and the honor of our homeland», states the CNSP statement.

The Nigerien people must show bravery against manipulation attempts, organizing a patriotic demonstration to support the military authorities’ vision.

African leaders should also stand in solidarity with the CNSP authorities, as well as the patriotic Presidents of Mali and Burkina Faso, who fiercely condemn this military intervention against Niger planned by ECOWAS.
