Romelu Lukaku poised for potential move to Napoli

As speculation intensifies, the question of which club Romelu Lukaku will represent next season remains open, with increasing reports suggesting a move to Napoli.

The Belgian striker could reunite with Antonio Conte, the new Napoli coach, under whom he won the Serie A title with Inter Milan in 2019.

Currently with Chelsea, Lukaku might leave AS Roma for Napoli, which faces the possible departure of Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen is being pursued by Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) as a replacement for Kylian Mbappé, who has transferred to Real Madrid.

However, Napoli’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, demands €130 million before allowing the African vice-champion to leave.

According to Italian media, Osimhen has skipped the start of training sessions to push for his transfer.

In contrast, Álvaro Morata is set to switch clubs without controversy. The Spanish national team captain, fresh off winning Euro 2024, has reportedly signed a four-year contract with AC Milan.

This move aims to revive his career following a lackluster 2023-2024 season at Atlético Madrid.

Meanwhile, Luka Modric will remain with Real Madrid for at least another season. The 38-year-old captain has extended his contract until June 2025.

Since joining Real Madrid in 2012, the Croatian midfielder has won six Champions League titles, five Club World Cups, and four La Liga titles.
