At 32 years old, Antoine Griezmann is enjoying the peak of his career. The French international, who plays for Atlético Madrid, received a prestigious award for his outstanding performance during the 2022-2023 season.
Despite LaLiga naming Vinicius as the best player of the season, the Madrid-based newspaper AS corrected this decision at the AS Sport Awards in Madrid, awarding the trophy to Griezmann.
In the previous season, Antoine Griezmann showcased an impressive performance with 15 goals and 16 assists.
Expressing his happiness and pride, Griezmann thanked his teammates and expressed optimism for the future.
The gala event in the Spanish capital also honored other football personalities, including Luka Modrić, Rodri, the Spanish national teams (both male and female), Aitana Bonmati, the Argentine national team, and David Silva.
