Equatorial Guinea: Observers rewarded for their “loyal” services

After the electoral hold-up of November 20, the self-proclaimed presidential candidate, Obiang Mbasogo for a sixth consecutive term, granted separate hearings to the “observers” on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. The occasion allowed the various observers to individually receive “rewards” from the regime for “missions accomplished”.

After a violent self-proclamation of the PDGE candidate as the winner of the election forcing the electoral commission and the Constitutional Court to settle in their shell, the time for awards has come for the crooked observers present in line leu-leu at the People’s Palace in the city of Malabo.Observers from the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP), led by Maria Do Carmen Silveira, was the first to enter and first served. A few minutes later, Obiang Mbasogo received another observer, that of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) for the same reasons. With banknotes and goods in kind, observers were in turn thanked for having accompanied the regime to silence the attempts of irregularities and massive and flagrant fraud that punctuated the deadlin, that of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) for the same reasons. But Samba Panza was content to pocket his hoard and make a speech of circumstance in front of the cameras. But Samba Panza was content to pocket his hoard and make a speech of circumstance in front of the ca”ECCAS is a regional organization of which Equatorial Guinea is a member. We had the duty to come and show our solidarity with the electoral process…” she stressed.

But world opinion is already aware that Equatorial Guinea is an integral part of ECCAS and instead of the organization showing its solidarity with a bloodthirsty and feudal regime that spends its time trampling on the constitution at every election, it should rather condemn its forfeiture.

In this “duty” of ECCAS is rather inspired by financial and egocentric motivations.

And to the head of the ECCAS delegation to continue to entertain the public declaring to the media that she forms a team of 16 people throughout the territory who reports in detail to Obiang Mbasogo, the main lines of the observations.

But one certainty remains.

None of these reports reported irregularities to the PDGE candidate that the entourage is amused to all wind to adore and coax for just the interests.

Only a few hours have passed after the “victory” of obiang Mbasogo during this electoral travesty that the new old regime is already beginning to make its own.
