Burkina Faso/UN: Minister Bassolma Bazié speaks the truth to the international community

At the UN, the international community gave up in the face of the resounding speech by Bassolma Bazié, Burkina Faso’s Minister of State, Minister for the Civil Service, Labour and Social Protection. The speech was the subject of lengthy reflection by the participants in the General Assembly, including UN Secretary General António Guterres and other imperialist leaders.

Minister Bassolma Bazié stated loud and clear that the African people are not opposed to the French people. But it is French policy, full of condescension, that is rejected.

The international community, led by France, is behaving hypocritically and dishonestly in order to save its own interests.

Minister Bassolma Bazié gave France a little history lesson on its attitude towards Burkina Faso. In the fight against terrorism, there is a lack of sincerity on the part of France and its allies.

There is a clear lack of honesty in the international community. «If the international community were honest and sincere in its fight against terrorism, it would have no problem obtaining the support of the people», said Minister Bassolma Bazié.

In response to the situation in Burkina Faso, the government has taken vigorous action by adopting a new development plan, the Action Plan for Stabilisation and Development 2023-2025.

This plan is subdivided into four priorities: the fight against terrorism and the restoration of territorial integrity, the response to the humanitarian crisis, the rebuilding of the State and the improvement of governance, national reconciliation and social cohesion.

The aim of these efforts is to offer the people of Burkina Faso better living conditions, so that they can emerge from the situation imposed by imperialism in the guise of terrorism.

Partnerships that are in line with the Burkina Faso government’s vision are welcome. Burkina Faso does not want producers of the unemployed and thieves through the cynical plundering of resources.
