Togo/Health: “Dogta Lafiè” Reference Hospital expands its Hospital care services

Four new essential medical services, including interventional cardiology, general surgery block, hemodialysis service, and dental prosthesis laboratory, have been made operational at Dogta Lafiè” Reference Hospital, earlier this week.

According to the information, all these services have already welcomed their first patients upon their launch.

And according to specialists’ testimonials, the operations are proceeding successfully.

These services complement the already available ones, including imaging, biology laboratory, general medicine with all its specialties, and gynecology.

According to the officials of this renowned healthcare facility in Togo, the next step will be to launch the oncology unit, a necessity given the number of people currently affected by cancers.

As per the information, services are also provided at home, starting from September 1st, 2023.

Let’s recall that this high-level hospital complex officially opened its doors after the inauguration by the Head of State Faure E. GNASSINGBE, on April 26, 2023, on the eve of Togo’s Independence Day.

This healthcare facility, supported by CNSS, aims to be more modern with a state-of-the-art and cutting-edge technical platform.

The authorities’ vision through this hospital is to enhance healthcare and make it more accessible to the population.

The hope of all Togolese is that Dogta Lafiè reference Hospital can effectively meet the needs of both the middle-class and vulnerable populations.
