Luis Rubiales, the head of Spanish football, is at the center of a scandal after forcibly kissing a player during Spain’s victory at the World Cup.
According to several Spanish media outlets, he is expected to resign during the extraordinary general assembly of the federation on this Friday August,25.
As the leader of the RFEF, Rubiales had been on thin ice since he unexpectedly kissed Jennifer Hermoso, the #10 of the women’s national team, in front of cameras from around the world, sparking reactions from the highest authorities in football.
