ECOWAS: Algerian Pan-Africanist Bekki Benameur proposes that the West African organisation withdraw the four countries in transition from the institution

In the search for solutions to prevent a costly and potentially deadly ECOWAS military intervention in Niger, the Algerian Pan-Africanist Bekki Benameur suggested at a press conference in Algiers that ECOWAS should simply withdraw Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea and Niger from its alliance.

The aim of this proposal is to avoid considerable expenditure and to prevent possible loss of life.

A wise decision that could save millions of lives. ECOWAS leaders must look into the matter.

The Pan-Africanist went on to accuse France of having turned the West African organisation into a French instrument for destabilising the sub-region.

Also, the ECOWAS of the peoples has become a French sub-prefecture, used to stifle certain countries in the zone that oppose France.

How can it be understood that this institution can never come up with a solution to eradicate terrorism, or even to support Member States that are victims of terrorism?

In reality, certain Heads of State in the West African sub-region cannot wage war against terrorists, because they have agreements with the latter to better exercise their powers.

In conclusion, the Algerian Pan-Africanist, Mr Bekki Benameur, invites the African people to unite and remain mobilised against all the French henchmen.
